The British Games Institute has called the UK among the top 5 video game manufacturing nations on earth. This name is well-deserved when you believe that some of the planet’s most prosperous games have come from Great Britain, including the uber-popular GTA (Grand Theft Auto) Series, made in Scotland.
This April also observed that the 14th BAFTA Games Awards appeared in the”outstanding creative achievement” in 2017. Here, British programmers at Ninja Theory LTD took home five awards because of their masterpiece Hellblade, including British Game, Artistic Achievement, and Game Beyond Entertainment.
British market and video game vendor OnBuy.com analyzed data in the map from UK Interactive Entertainment (or even Ukie) and discovered that Britain had released 19,617 games up to now. Since cooperating with Japanese giants in the Sega takeover, the series has sold 15 million copies over platforms.
